Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Its been some time now since I wrote that post but guess what ... I still struggle everyday with coping with work (even though its only 3 days a week), kids and life generally. Not having time to myself is probably what is causing me a bit of grief. Anyway, I have just started a creative writing course (yes ... still trying to do more in the little time that I have each day) and its something I am doing for myself. I have always loved writing and with my long service leave coming up early next year, I am hoping that I will be able to spend some time writing my novel! Until then, I will probably just keep battling on as best I can.
yes work in health certainly brings you in contact with a lot of people. I largely consult and write these days, keeps me flat out.
