Hi Joanna, your comment is very interesting, its such an obvious struggle for Mums and its a shame that there is not enough assistance with income and support. When I became a Mum I knew that I was not going to leave my bub and go and work so thats why I started my own home business, I worked for years as a medical secretary so I now offer typing and administrative services from home part time which helps keep things secure for my family. I thought through a few options of what I wanted to do from home and the other thing I liked the thought of was starting my own child care from home as I have many friends and people I know in your situation, actually I am one of them as my mum left her body when I was 16 and my Dad is not really available either. I am sure there is some red atpe involved but there is a family day care scheme now available and a few people I know personally have done really well out of it, they spend lots of time with their kids and they have a huge social network. There are also many things you can do from home if you have a computer. My inlaws work for a company overseas doing all of their ordering and invoicing. I hope this offers some light to your situation, I guess its a matter of staying positive and thinking outside the box a little. There is so much info out there on the web. Good Luck! Meg

I know I get anxious about deadlines with work sometimes too but I know Im not frustrated with my daughter I know its just me getting anxious to provide an exeptional service to my clients and be an exceptional mum at the same time!! I'm a mum of a 13month old daughter and I also used to feel the pinch of kids, house work, working full-time etc.. I finally got sick of the pushy boss who was not flexible, and i started my own business.. If your looking for an income from home, part-time or full-time around your family, I may have somthing that would suit your situation..I help families turn their monthly expense into a monthly income, but converting their homes to natural/green products..

Creative writing would be wonderful.. I need a hobby. I currently just spend all my time with my daughter, or working, so I think I need to find something that I can do just for myself.. Battling through shouldn't be your motivation.. noone should have to battle anything i feel..trust me there are easier ways to get through the day, I have had my fair share of horrible days, but its amazing that kind of strenght a great vitamin can do for your system..
